I guess for some films your not too sure on watching, the trailer will be the tipping point. But if you watch the trailer and realise it is a film you’d be into, you lose the impact of the scenes in the trailer because they dont have the context the rest of the film gives.
I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on this peice I did a while back. I don’t watch film trailers and here’s why:

I don’t think you’re overreacting at all. One of my friends won’t watch trailers anymore because he thinks they ruin too much of the movie.

Haha Yea, that’s very true. We were joking that he could wait outside for 45 minutes until the movie actually started.

I can’t wait for Elvis & Nixon man. Looks like a ton of fun. Ditto that for High Rise.

I was sort of lax with seeing movies in cinema last year, definitely going to change that this year.
