A lot of nerdy highlights. For me, Civil War is most anticipated, but also really pumped for Midnight Special. Meanwhile, Hardcore Henry has most interesting concept. I dug into it those latter 2 flicks with my latest podcast, Cinema Sugar Bombs.

I agree about Civil War, that’s my most anticipated, too. I’m excited for Midnight Special because it looks like something different for the superpower genre. Hardcore Henry looks to be a very unique movie. The first-person angle looks interesting. I just hope it doesn’t suffer from the same pitfalls as found footage films.

Midnight Special also has that Amblin early Spielberg sort of vibe. I long for a return to that style of filmmaking.
